Participation of Armenia’s Minister of Economy, Gevorg Papoyan, in the Opening Ceremony of the Armenian-Lithuanian Business Forum at the Vilnius Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Crafts

As part of his visit to the Republic of Lithuania, Armenia’s Minister of Economy, Gevorg Papoyan, attended the opening ceremony of the Armenian-Lithuanian Business Forum at the Vilnius Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Crafts.

The event was also attended by Armenia’s Ambassador to Lithuania, Ara Margarian, and Deputy Minister Narek Hovakimyan.

In his welcoming speech, Minister Papoyan outlined Armenia’s economic development model, explaining that the current consumption-driven growth is being replaced by an investment-driven growth model. He emphasized that numerous projects are underway in various sectors, including industry, logistics, real estate development, agriculture, and tourism, which present attractive opportunities for Lithuanian businesses.

The forum was attended by businesspeople from various sectors of the Armenian and Lithuanian economies.

A representative from Armenia’s "Investment Support Center" foundation, who had traveled from Armenia, also participated and introduced the foundation’s activities to the forum attendees.
